Overview

minecraft:movable is a block component: it goes in the components object of a custom block. Controls what happens when a piston pushes or pulls the block.

Fields

FieldTypeDefaultDescription
movement_typeMovement Typenone"push_pull" moves normally, "push" can only be pushed, "popped" breaks the block and "immovable" means pistons cannot move it.
stickySticky Type"none"Set to "same" so the block drags touching blocks along, like a slime block. Only works with "push_pull".

Example

Inside the components object of BP/blocks/<name>.json (values are the defaults or placeholders):

BP/blocks/<name>.json
{
  "minecraft:movable": {
    "movement_type": {},
    "sticky": "none"
  }
}
