1. Who We Are
Godcraft is a community for Minecraft addons, resource packs, maps, skins and servers, available at god-craft.com and as the Godcraft app for Android and iOS (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Ion Dobrioglo.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Use.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, Apple or email, we receive your email address, a display name and, if the provider shares it, a profile picture. Email sign-in also stores a securely hashed password or a one-time code. You can browse the Service without an account.
- Content you publish. Posts (addons, resource packs, maps, skins), servers, comments, images, files, descriptions, your profile details and anything else you upload are stored so we can show them to other users. Published content is public.
- Purchases. If you buy gems or Premium in the app, the payment is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play (through our provider RevenueCat). We receive a purchase record and your entitlement status, never your card details.
- Usage and device data. Like most websites, our servers and providers process technical data such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, pages visited, referring page and the time of your visit. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous, aggregated page view statistics.
- Cookies and local storage. We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Advertising partners may also set cookies, see sections 4 and 5 and our Cookie Policy.
- Push notifications. If you allow notifications in the app, we store a device token so we can notify you about replies, followers and similar activity.
- Reports and support messages. If you report content, file a copyright notice or email us, we keep that correspondence to handle your request.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide the Service: accounts, publishing, downloads, comments, following, servers and notifications.
- To process purchases and deliver gems, Premium and paid content.
- To keep the community safe: moderation, enforcing our Site Rules, preventing spam, fraud and abuse.
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
- To show advertising that keeps the Service free (see below).
- To comply with legal obligations, such as copyright and DSA requests.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
The website uses Google AdSense to show ads. The app uses Google AdMob, Google's ad service for apps.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
- Other third-party vendors or ad networks may also serve ads on the Service. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy policies.
Learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), personalized ads are only shown with your consent. If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads. In the iOS app, personalized ads are only shown if you allow tracking when asked.
5. Service Providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Convex (database, file storage and authentication).
- Vercel (website hosting and anonymous analytics).
- Google (Google Sign-In, AdSense, AdMob). See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, push notifications).
- RevenueCat (in-app purchase management).
We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users and the Service.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. Content you delete is removed from the Service, and backups are cleared over time. Server logs and analytics are kept for a limited period, up to 12 months.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can edit your profile and delete your content in your account settings. To request account deletion or exercise any other right, email us at the address below.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Links to Other Sites
The Service links to third-party sites, such as server websites and download mirrors posted by users. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
