Pull on your boots, friend: the fields are ready. Harvest Plenty brings 18 new crops to your farm, each with its own seeds, four growth stages you can watch fill out on the farmland, a fresh harvest you can eat right off the plant, and a cookbook of hearty farmhouse dishes to make with it all.
The crops
- Tomato, Eggplant, Bell Pepper, Chili Pepper and Blueberry grow into leafy bushes hung with fruit.
- Strawberry and Cucumber stay low and sprawl along the ground.
- Corn and Green Beans grow tall, with cobs and pods tucked into the leaves.
- Lettuce, Cabbage, Broccoli and Cauliflower form a fat head in the middle of the plant.
- Garlic and Onion send up thin green shoots with the bulb peeking out of the soil.
- Radish, Sweet Potato and Peanut keep their harvest underground under a leafy top.
Getting seeds
- Break short grass, tall grass and ferns: about 1 in 10 drops a random seed from the set.
- Craft a Seed Pouch: 7 wheat seeds around 1 bone meal with 1 paper in the bottom middle. Use it to open it and get 3 random seeds.
- Any harvested vegetable or fruit turns back into 1 of its seeds in the crafting grid.
- Every ripe crop also drops 1 to 2 seeds, so a good field keeps itself going.
Growing and harvesting
- Till the soil with a hoe and plant seeds on farmland. Crops grow faster on watered farmland.
- Bone meal works on every crop: each use pushes it 1 or 2 stages ahead.
- Break a ripe crop for 1 to 3 of its harvest plus seeds. Or tap a ripe crop with an empty hand to pick it and leave the plant in the ground to grow again, no replanting needed.
- Breaking an unripe crop gives its seed back. Crops pop off if the farmland is trampled or water floods them.
- All seeds and harvests can go in the composter.

Farmer's tips
- Fresh vegetables are a light snack, cooked food fills you up more, and the dishes are the real prize. Plant a bit of everything so the kitchen never runs short.
- Keep a water source within 4 blocks so the soil stays dark and damp: dry farmland still grows crops, just slower.
- In creative, the seeds and harvests sit in the nature tab and the dishes in the items tab.
