Change the look of vanilla blocks, items, mobs and menus with your own textures in GodCraft, then use them in one world or across all of Minecraft Bedrock.
Not every add-on needs new content. Sometimes you just want diamond ore to stand out more, grass that matches your build, or a sword that looks like the one you drew in class. That's a texture pack, and in GodCraft you make one by re-skinning the vanilla things you want to change. Everything else stays exactly as Minecraft has it.
A texture pack is a resource pack that contains images with the same names as the game's own textures. When the pack is active, Minecraft uses your image instead of its own. You don't add new blocks or change how anything behaves, so texture packs are safe for any world, and they don't need experiments.
Blocks with different faces, like logs, barrels or crafting tables, open an editor that shows all their faces together, so the top and sides stay consistent.
When we make a texture pack, we always start by editing the vanilla texture rather than drawing a new one. Keeping the original outline and only changing colors or a few details gives a pack that still feels like Minecraft, and it's much quicker.
Open Items from the Add Object screen. Under the Custom entry is the list of standard Minecraft items. Pick one, for example the diamond sword, change its icon, and save. The item keeps its vanilla ID, so every diamond sword in the world uses your new look.
The Add Object screen has more groups you can re-skin the same way:
If you have several texture packs active, the one at the top of the active list wins when two packs change the same texture. Move yours up if your changes don't show.
The pack isn't active, or another resource pack higher in the list changes the same texture. Check both.
Some items use separate textures or a 3D model when held. Look for the matching entry under Entities (shield and trident are good examples).
The image didn't save properly. Open it again in the editor, re-pick the texture and save.
Once your pack looks good, it's worth sharing. Texture packs get downloaded a lot, especially small, focused ones like "clearer ores" or "darker UI".
