Cozy Camp Update: Cushions, Straw Beds and Abandoned Camps

A new preview update is here, and this one brings a cozy adventure feeling with new camp items, better forest details, visual fixes, and useful creator improvements.

New cozy camp items

The biggest additions are the new Cushion and Straw Bed. Cushions can be placed in the world and used for sitting, making camps, houses, and roleplay builds feel much more alive.

• Cushions can be crafted in 16 color variants.
• They can be placed on flat surfaces.
• They sit on top of the supporting block and do not move.
• They break if the block under them is removed.

Straw Bed for quick resting

The new Straw Bed lets players sleep through the night without changing their spawn point. It is a temporary bed, so after using it once, it breaks.

• Crafted from hay bales.
• Useful for traveling, camping, and survival adventures.

Abandoned camps are more interesting

Abandoned camps also received attention in this update. They can now appear in more forest-style areas, include straw beds, and have improved generation with procedural trees.

Better forest atmosphere

Forest areas got small but nice improvements too. Fog settings were adjusted, leaf textures were updated, and new ambient sounds were added for a richer outdoor feeling.

Visual and gameplay fixes

This update also includes several useful fixes. Leaf rendering was improved, door and sign textures were cleaned up, missing wool stair and slab recipes were added, and some Android visual issues were fixed.

Creator and editor improvements

For creators, there are also many technical updates. Rotation features are easier to use, custom block rendering was improved, editor tools received fixes, and new options were added for cinematic tools, images, sounds, blocks, and world editing.
