新Pastel Dream

hi, Rosie here 🌸 I wanted a world that feels like a bag of soft candy, so I repainted the everyday blocks and items in mint, lilac, peach, baby blue and butter yellow. Everything still reads as itself (stone is still stone, just dreamier), with smooth gradients and only a whisper of texture so big builds stay calm and tidy.

the palette, block by block

stones: stone in lavender grey, andesite in powder blue, diorite in cream with tiny pink flecks, granite in rosy peach, tuff in sage, calcite in clean white, plus all their polished and smooth versions. Cobblestone, mossy cobble, stone bricks (mossy, cracked, chiseled) and stone slabs got rounder, softer stones with thin mortar lines.

the deep layers: the full deepslate set (raw, top, cobbled, polished, bricks, tiles) in a dusky lilac, a little darker so you always know how deep you are.

ores: every ore in both stone and deepslate, with little gem clusters that each catch a highlight: coal in plum, iron in peach, copper in coral with mint, gold in butter, redstone in strawberry pink, lapis in periwinkle, diamond in aqua mint, emerald in spring mint. Nether gold and nether quartz ores too. The matching storage blocks are glossy candy tiles with a soft shine stripe, and the raw ore blocks look like pebbly nougat.

ground: dirt in cocoa peach, coarse dirt, rooted dirt, sand in butter, red sand in apricot, gravel made of mixed pastel pebbles, clay in baby blue, snow, ice, packed ice, blue ice, mud and mud bricks, moss, mycelium in lilac, podzol and the path block.

grass and leaves: grass and foliage are tinted by new pastel biome colours, so meadows turn minty and forests go sage instead of deep green. Leaves are little rounded clumps for oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak and mangrove, cherry leaves are pink, and azalea gets tiny blossoms. Their inventory versions match.

wood: planks, logs, log tops with rings, and stripped logs for oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry and pale oak, plus bamboo blocks and mosaic, and crimson and warped stems and planks. Each wood has its own shade, from cream birch to rose mangrove to mint warped.

colour blocks: all 16 colours of wool (a cosy knit pattern), concrete (smooth), concrete powder (sugary grain), terracotta (matte and a bit chalky), stained glass and glass panes, all on one shared soft palette so they mix nicely.

building pieces: bricks in strawberry pink with cream mortar, nether bricks, red nether bricks, end stone and end bricks, prismarine (gently shifting), dark prismarine, prismarine bricks, purpur blocks and pillars, quartz in every cut, sandstone and red sandstone sets, blackstone and basalt sets, obsidian in deep lilac, bedrock, netherrack, soul sand, soul soil, dripstone, glowstone, sea lantern and magma.

cosy blocks: crafting table, furnace (with a warm glow when lit), bookshelf with candy-coloured spines, a pink TNT, pumpkins and jack o'lanterns with a sweet little smile, melon and hay bales.

water and lava: both animate. Water is lighter and a bit more see-through, and lava flows in coral, peach and butter.

how to use it

Open the file and the game adds it for you. Then go to Settings, Global Resources, and move Pastel Dream to the top of your active packs. It works in any world and on servers that allow resource packs. Anything this pack does not cover keeps its default look, so you can stack it with other packs underneath.

happy building, and have a soft day 🍬
