From bouncing and sliding to explosive surprises, this unpredictable mob unlocks exciting new ways to build, compete, and survive depending on what you feed it.
Chaos Cubed features
Sulfur Cubes
A brand-new mob with a curious appetite for… blocks! Found in Sulfur caves, the Sulfur Cube transforms depending on which block you feed it — send it bouncing, sliding, and more.
Bucket of Sulfur Cube
Scoop your new friend up with a bucket and tuck it safely into your inventory — no need to puzzle out how to move it across the caves.
Sulfur springs & caves
Spot a Sulfur pool by its Sulfur and Cinnabar blocks and the noxious gas rising from it. Dig beneath to uncover a Sulfur cave filled with new blocks, Sulfur spikes, and the Sulfur Cube itself.
Potent Sulfur
The new potent Sulfur block makes springs bubble. Place it beneath water to create hot bubbling pools, bubble columns, and puffs of noxious gas — which triggers nausea in players and nearby mobs, so build with caution!
Cinnabar & Sulfur block sets
Two full new block sets bring rich reds and yellows to your builds — cobble them, craft bricks, cut stairs, and more.
Sulfur Spikes & Geysers
Sulfur Spikes grow on Cinnabar and Sulfur blocks for a distinctive look. Geysers form when Magma is placed under submerged potent Sulfur — use them for a vertical boost or dramatic landscaping.
Special blocks: TNT & Magma
Feed a Sulfur Cube some TNT and… enjoy (or deeply regret) the explosive results. Or play hot potato by having it absorb a Magma block.
New music
New tracks by composer fingerspit (Paula Ruiz), including a new music disc, “Bounce,” found in Minecarts with Chests inside Sulfur Cave mineshafts, plus new menu, Creative, and biome tracks.
