§6Actual Backpack

Actual Backpack is a lightweight, vanilla-friendly add-on that finally gives you the extra storage you need. Craft it, wear it, and stop leaving loot behind on those long mining trips and builds.

How it works

• Place it down: once crafted, set your backpack on the ground.
• Store items: interact with the backpack to open it and stash your gear inside.
• Wear it: sneak and interact to strap the backpack onto your back.
• Take it off: stand still, then sneak and jump at the same time to get a prompt to remove it.
• Pocket it: punch the backpack to tuck it into your inventory, where your hotbar shows its details and fill percentage.
• Recolor it: change the dye to change the color of your backpack.

Good to know

• 100% achievement compatible - keep earning achievements as you play.
• No experimental toggles required to use it.
• Does not overwrite player.json, so it plays nicely with other add-ons.

Simple, survival-ready, and built to feel like it belongs in vanilla Minecraft.
